Digital - Makes Noise when it runs and can be annoying
Sinewave - Is quiet and does not make noise, even if it is there it is negligible
Secondly
Digital - You need to use a UPS with it for a desktop
Sinewave - You do not need to use a UPS with it for a desktop
Thirdly,
Digital - Is Relatively Cheaper
Sinewave - Is relatively Expensive
Now if I am a consumer what would I prefer - Hands down Sinewave
Why? Buying an Inverter is a commitment which lasts 4-7 years and sometimes more, for a thousand odd rupees more I would have to listen to a whirring sound every time the lights are out.
